3D Climate Change Visual Aid

Thanks to Al Gore and Goole. There is a 3D visual aid of the climate change and its progression if we dont stop it. It will be narrated by Al Gore himself too! It will be a new feature as part of google earth and will hopefully be released by the Climate Change Conference in December. This will be a great tool to get everyone informed on what could really happening, and what is happening now.

Microsoft is now officially not cool enough, so they have to copy mac. they are copying their idea of a genius bar, and making a google bar. They are even stealing some of apples old managers to help them model their new stores. Mean Mean Mean Microsoft.

Wii should hold off on buying the wii!

The wii is apparently taking a $50 price drop! Some "camera phone" leaked pictures of the new $199 price that walmart, toys r us, possibly even target might participate in! So if you are thinking about buying a Wii wait for a few weeks. :)

Internet rehab?!?! What has this world come too!?!?

It has been previously announced that there are many internet and phone rehabilitation places in japan and china. But now the US has its first! it is somewhere in Seattle. For $14,500 you can go for 45 days with out internet or phone. But now my argument is, cant you just cancel your internet service and in a sense get paid, because you arent having to pay the internet bill? Just something to think about :)

iTunes got a makeover!

iTunes got completely redesigned! Its awesome! its faster when loading tha pages, and aso when buffering.

now the iPhone is perfect! :)

It was confirmed that on september 25th AT&T will be able to cary a photo and mms sending service for the iPhone!! all rejoice! It will be available via an iPhone update on the 25th! but bad news for the 1st eneration iPhone users, no mms for you!! im sawee!

Those changes haven't been announced yet but it has been announced that Tom, everyones friend, is stepping down even though his contract is up in end of october. he has given it over to the former CEO of Facebook, so get some competition going.

A source close to Apple has spilled some beans!According to this somewhat trustful source, the new iPhone will be coming out on July 17th! wooo hoo! it will be bigger, with more mega pixels and with more space, and badder, just bad... but in a good/AMAZING way, than ever!!!!! It will supposedly have a 3.2 mega pixel camera with a video capability. Also just to add to the list of awesomeness, it will have an OLED screen, built in FM transmitter and 32GB of storage ~drum roll please~ all for the same price as the iPhone as the last released iPhone was!!!!!

WWDC Date confirmed!

World Wide Developers Confrence has a scheduled date!!! It will be monday morning, June 8th at 10:00 am. But unfortunately Steve Jobs wont be there. He still is returning back to health so, Philip Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of product marketing, is doing the keynote. Hopefully Steve Jobs will be better by the end of the conference. Another thing, they may not be releasing the new iPhone but, they ARE releasing the new software. A word to all geeks: May the Mac be with you! :)

Manny "Steroids" Ramirez

Manny,Manny,Manny... OH Manny! Why do you do this to us?!?!?!?! for those of you who have been hiding in a hole, Manny was suspended from the MLB until July 5th!!!! he is the first well known MLB star to be suspended for performance enhancing drugs. He had just signed a one season, $25,000,000 contract. Because he will be sitting out for the rest of the season and will loose about $7,500,000!!!!!! good going manny! (at least he isn't with the red sox anymore :) )

IMAX Goes to Space!!

The next time NASA goes to space to service the Hubble telescope, an IMAX camera will be going up with them!!! We will get to see what they do to the Hubble Telescope and how they fix it. As an IMAX bonus, it will be in 3D!!!! I wanna go see that movie!!!!! The movie will take care of the 5 space walks it takes to repair the Hubble. The IMAX will be aboard Space Shuttle Atlantis and will take off May 11th!! I'm oober excited :)It will be called Hubble 3D and is estimated to be out by summer of 2010!!!! Woo hoooo!

PSP Go? or stay????

Its been rumored that Sony will be releasing the new Sony PSP and E3. It will not be using the UMD drive or UMD disc and will instead be able to upload games digitally. It might be called the PSP Go, but its not fully decided yet.It would have over 100 games available for digital download. It might also have a pull out gaming keys and possibly a touch screen. could be good... i guess it worked for apple :)

Steve Jobs returns to Apple! Woo Hoo!

As some of you know, Steve Jobs stepped down from his position with Apple because of some health issues. He had Pancreatic cancer. He is scheduled to return end of June. He has been on medical leave since the beginning of January. We are all happy to see his black turtle neck again! :) Yay for Steve! were all glad to see that he's better, and excited to see what he does!

GM Launches the Peapod in Honor of Earth Day!!!!

In honor of this past Earth Day, GM has launched this adorable little car called the Peapod! its electric run. If anyone knows of the Gem, that's what it reminds me of. It can go up to 25 mph and is meant for city driving. it was debuted on the Today Show yesterday!!! A fun fact: it can be started up with your iPod or iPhone, that was a good deal GM made with Apple!!!!! Smart business i have to say. It retails for about $12,500 and its available now!!! I like this one better than the Smart Car, but thats just me :p.

Google Soon to Launch "Similar Images"

As you saw in one of my previous Blogs, Google added a colour filter to your image search so you can search for a specific colour image. Now, they added a "Similar Images" filter!!!! It recognises the time of day if its a scenery shot! if you want a picture of the Eiffel Tower but from a lower perspective it will recognise the perspective too!!!!! Dayummmmm Google!!! They are going all out on this image searching thing!!!! awesome! it isn't available quite yet, only in google labs... but hopefully sometime soon. :)

Happy Earth Day!!!

According to earthday.net "Secretary of State Hilda Solis, EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson, Representative Edward Markey, green celebrities like Chevy Chase and Matthew Modine, and other representatives of the environmental community addressed the crowd and encouraged the world to join The Green Generation™." Some sources say if everyone turns off all of their electricity in their house for only one minute, it will have the same impact as taking every car off the streets for a whole day! So try to keep your energy use to a minimum. Small tips such as shutting off the water while you are brushing your teeth or for the ladies, shaving while the water is warming up. Try taking 1/2 or 3/4 full baths every so often. :)

Susan Boyle, Household Name?

Susan Boyle, a 47 yr old woman went to the auditions of Britain's got Talent with hopes of having the status of Ellen Paige. Everyone laughed at that. Once she opened up her mouth and sang no one was laughing anymore. Along with the video of her on YouTube having over 5,000,000 views, reports on her MANY fan sites are requesting her to make an album!!!! Maybe her dream of becoming a name like Ellen Paige will come to life!

MORE new iPhone thingys?!?!?!

Apple is holding their world wide developers conference on June 8th. They will possibly be introducing the next generation iPhone.Patents were put in last week by apple saying that it could be motion aware.If you are going on a run the icons and buttons will enlarge to make it easier for you to find buttons. It may also include a front facing video camera for mobile video confrencing!!!!! HOW AWESOME!?!?!?!?!?! I hate touch screens but now I really want to get an iPhone!!!! Oober coolness!!!!!!

New Zune HD!

Info about the new Zune HD has slipped past the gates. A little bird told me that it will have a multi-touch OLED screen in a 16:9 screen.On the side there will be an HDMI TV output. As far as size and space is concerned there will be some in 16 and 32 GB versions. A cool thing is that it might be able to support 3D XBOX games! Sweetness!!! It is scheduled to release in late fall, possible September... Keep your eyes peeled!!!!!

Google Adds Colour Filter When Searching for Images!

Google has just made you're life better and easier while searching for images. Let's say you are doing a presentation and you wanted a picture of a red sunset sky. Well Google has just made you're life easier. It now has a colour sorter. Instead of just getting a jumble of sunsets you can have a more precise search. You can search your images for a specific colour! Wooooo Hoooo!! It is not available for the masses yet but hopefully it will be out for everyone soon!

Apple Gets HUGEE Profits!!

I know that if I look around my house and find how much it cost to make all of these things I would be shocked in comparison to the price i bought it at. I am shocked at the price it takes to make the new iPod Shuffle! Just take a guess........ $21.77!!!! That's it! The main processing chip inside of it only costs $5.95, the 4GB flash drive costs them $6.00, the battery is $1.20. Then there's the case and headphones. So, the price it takes for them to make it is 28% of the actual sale price. That means they mark it up by 300% !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! People still buy it so... good on Apple.

Fringe viewers have been sent secret messages?!?!

Viewers of the show fringe have been getting secret messages without their even knowing it! it turns out that the images shown before every commercial break are a code. "Nerds" have been able to crack the code and find out what they are saying. It has shown to come up with words such as Olivia (the main character), observer and child. Some images have multiple letters corresponding with that image... tricky...

Worlds Cheapest and Smallest Car Goes on Sale in India!!!!

The new TATA-Nano is now on sale in India.It is a compact, fuel efficient vehicle on sale for roughly only $2,500! It is made by TATA-Motors.(figures) Car Magazine said "it wont compete in quality or dynamics with other European or Japanese cars, because it wont have to." It is quite Spacious on the inside and it is roomier on the inside than the Smart Car. It's SOOO cute! :) Were not sure yet if it will get to the states but hopefully it will. :)

Facebook is making MORE tweaks to the home page!?!?!?!

Facebook has received the over 1,000,000 complaints on the new home page and plan to make changes to the home page!!!!! one million people just in one group goin directly to the "big cheeses" at Facebook!!!!! It will affect the news feed and fix any glitches. It will fix some parts of the lay out too. They will have real time updates and improving the filter system. Thanks Facebook!!!!!

Cisco has just purchased the Flip Video Company for $590,000,000!!!! Cisco has finally arrived the the popular consumers market. They took a big chance but it will pay off. i personally like the Flip, but i don't know many who have them so its a risk... Lets see how it goes and what they do with it. :)

iTunes, i refuse to buy from you now!!!!!!

iTunes has decided to take advantage of their power and bump up prices for new, classic or hit songs up to $1.29 on April 7th! This is MADNESS!!!!!!!!! But the good thing is some songs that are less popular will be dropped down to 69 cents. That's kind of a slap in the face for the artist though... oh well... Thankfully they decided to keep some songs at 99 cents.
